WALT ROBERTS My Easy Record Songs on the KN7000 PAGE 1/2
I live in Richmond, Virginia (USA). I began playing when I was 10 years old on a "Royal Artist Electric Chord Organ". It had push button chords on the left hand and about two and half octives on the right. My parents thought I quickly outgrew that chord organ and bought me a WurliTzer spinet organ. That lasted about two years and I moved up to a Hammond A -100 w/ Leslie speaker which I still own today ! I also have a Lowrey MX - 1 that was purchased on Ebay last year ( I was selling them 20 years ago ). Lenny Dee and Earle Grant were two of the players I grew up listening to on the radio and I still have many of their LPs. The WurliTzer Theatre organ has a strong place in my heart from my childhood days.
And we still have one here in Richmond , Virginia being played every Friday and Saturday night at the Byrd Theatre. My Technics KN -1000 has served me very well over the past 12 years and I'm sure the KN -7000 will prove to be just as rewarding. This is a hobby for me (real Job car Sales) however I do perform professionaly from time to time
