I was born and raised in Edinburgh Scotland, spent 15 years in the British Army, mainly teaching Electronics and Radio engineering and visited Germany, Singapore, Malaya, Aden and Libya.
On leaving the Army, I followed a career in electronics, mainly based on industrial instrumentation, until I retired in 2002, aged 65. I live in Richmond North Yorkshire. I am married, have one daughter and two lovely grandchildren.My hobbies are, playing and listening to music, electronics, aircraft and computing.		  Although my main instrument now, is the KN7000, I am primarily a drummer. In the past, I also played bass and guitar.
