This page describes some suggestions to think about when making your first record on the KN7000

STARTING POSITION.
The KN7 is in ‘initial performance’.
You can do that by <PROGRAM MENUS><CONTROL><INITIAL><PERFORMANCE><OK>
(Be aware there is nothing you whish to save in the KN7 memories)

SETTING THE APC (Auto Play Chord)
Choose: APC ON
(If APC is set on <OFF> the Auto Play Chord is not working)
Choose: FINGERED
(Unless you whish to play ‘one fingered’ (choose: BASIC) or ‘fingered with no keyboardsplit’ (choose: PIANIST MODE)
Choose optional:
- Memory: ON/OFF
- On bass: ON/OFF
- Left hold: ON/OFF

SETTING THE MSA (Music Style Arranger)
Choose: MSA ON/OFF
Choose: RHYTHM
Only the Rhythm changes
Choose: SOUND & RHYTHM
The sounds, rhythm, effects changes as registered in the KN7
Choose: PANEL MEMORY
Var1 – Var4 is equal to Panel Memory A1-A4. (The sound, rhythm, tempo, effect etc. depends on how the Panel Memories A1 till A4 are set up and saved!)

(Pay attention to the Panel Memory Modus; suggested the EXPAND mode (Otherwise you will miss for instance the rhythm-setting))

SETTING THE PM (Panel Memory)
If you don’t want to use the MSA, you could choose to record your song by using the Panel Memories. In this case you have to arrange and set the Panel Memories for use.
Advise: set the MSA on <OFF>
